The Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences and Environmental Management at the University of Debrecen has recently signed an agreement with the international training organization Pronix Learning on cooperation in education, support for student mobility, the arrangement of joint mutual internships, and a partnership to apply for international grants. In the framework of this collaboration, the first thirty students from India have already arrived at the Faculty of Agriculture in order to participate in a two-week, practice-oriented international training program.

A talented student from the Faculty of Computer Science at the University of Debrecen won the world championship title in the IT security category at the Digital Skills Cup, a global online IT and technology competition for digital professionals. The senior student majoring in computer science and software engineering competed against regional champions from sixty-four countries and triumphed in a large and highly qualified field.
Americans of Hungarian descent visited the Summer University on Monday. During the day, they toured the Egyetem tér campus and learned about methods for studying the Hungarian language, after which they visited the city’s sights. During their trip to Hungary, they are visiting numerous locations in the region, including Tarcal, Mád, Szilvásvárad, and Boldogkőváralja.
With the principal focus on the development of public transportation and urban mobility in Debrecen, there were as many as 37 teams competing for a spot in the finals on Wednesday and Thursday, May 20 and 21, participating in a two-day idea competition hosted jointly by Debrecen’s public transport company, DKV Debreceni Közlekedési Zrt., and the Innovation Ecosystem Center of the University of Debrecen.
